Abstract Teakwood Sculpture mounted on Rosewood Base

Abstract Teakwood sculpture carved from a solid piece of wood and mounted onto an iron stand with a rosewood base by an unknown artist. Various spheres and perforations are carved into the sculpture, which means it looks different from every angle. Parts of the sculpture have an ultra smooth texture, while internal portions of the sculpture are carved to have a jagged texture and have been painted black which creates greater shadow and dimension throughout the different parts of this piece. Recently refinished with hard wax oil, this piece is in great vintage condition.
